Canadian Festival Report Card
The Canadian Festival Report Card is a volunteer effort, with participants from around the country. Our aim is to point out to artistic directors and the community at large the dearth of women-identifying and non-binary artists on stages across the country and encourage everyone to do better and demand better. There’s a wealth of incredible women and non-binary artists making music in Canada, so booking high-quality talent is easy – if festivals have the will to do it, they can.
Before you get all angry, please read our report card criteria here (and then you can get really angry, if that’s your jam)
